BACKGROUND
40 year old client, Zainab, a successful business woman started to consider diversifying her investment portfolio. Before reaching out to us,she only invested in Real Estate, however she wanted to look into other investment opportunities.
Also, she had a property that needed to be sold but didn’t understand the current market analysis or how to go about the sale.
ACTION POINT
Since Zainab already had an idea on investment and had recently understood the need to diversify her portfolio, we asked to know her financial goals and risk tolerance level.
To ascertain her risk tolerance level, we gave her a risk analysis test and the moment we knew her risk threshold we advised her on what suits her.
Based on the result of her risk analysis, we advised her to invest in commodity trading, forex and government bond.
Checking through her progress report, we saw that investment in commodity trading gave her between 24-40% return per annum whole Investment in forest through Trade Dex NG gave her about 40% return and investment in government bond gave her 15% per annum.
On the sale of property, we advised her on the best approach suitable for it. This helped her negotiate on a higher deal and she ended up making 40% more than she was looking to sell the property for.
